Robert J. “Bob” Spencer, Sr, age 67, of New Castle, formerly of Wilmington, passed away on Wednesday, November 20, 2019 in the presence of his family.

Bob worked various trades including as an electrician and painter. He enjoyed fishing and hunting.
Bob was preceded in death by his daughter, Rebecca Spencer and his sister, Martha Spencer.

Survivors include his sons, Robert, Jr and Michael; his daughters, Charlene and Cheyenne; his brother, Michael; his sisters, Cathy and Kathleen; and 17 grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held at 12 noon on Monday, December 2 at Nichols-Gilmore Funeral Home, 212 E. Justis St. Newport, DE 19804 where visitation will begin at 11 am.

In lieu of flowers, contributions in Bob’s memory may be made to Nichols-Gilmore Funeral Home to assist with the funeral expenses.
