Obituary for Paula M. Szczuka
Paula M. Szczuka, 72, of Townsend, Delaware, passed away on January 14, 2024. She was born to the late Helen Thompson and Paul E. Middleton Jr. Paula was a loving, loyal, and unselfish individual who will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
Paula graduated from Sanford Prep and furthered her education at the University of New Mexico and the University of Arizona. She dedicated many years of her career as an Episcopal church administrator, serving her community with grace and compassion.
In her free time, Paula enjoyed playing cards, walking with her dogs, and making jam and jelly. These hobbies brought her joy and allowed her to express her creativity.
Paula leaves behind a legacy of love and kindness. She is survived by her beloved husband, Frank, and their children: Robin Slaw (Drew), Kristin Wilson (Dana), Sarah Kuczmarski (Matt), and Sam Lentini (Angela). She is also survived by her sister, Dianne Browne, and her seven adoring grandchildren.
A memorial service to celebrate Paula's life will be held at the Episcopal Church of the Advent, located at 401 N Union St., Kennett Square, PA 19348, on Saturday, January 20, 2024 at 10am, with visitation beginning at 9:30am. The service will be a time to honor and remember Paula's remarkable life and the impact she had on those around her.
The Nichols-Gilmore funeral home in Newport, Delaware, is assisting the family with the arrangements. Their compassionate staff will provide guidance and support during this difficult time.
