Norman L. “Dread” Burton, age 48, of Wilmington, formerly of Newark, New Jersey, sunset on Monday, September 27, 2021.
Norman, known as Dread and Norm Newark enjoyed playing basketball and cards (spades). He was a loving son and brother and father.
Survivors include his mother, Rosemary Burton; his children, Shaheed Kelly and Charnell Kelly; his girlfriend, Nancy Williams and his siblings, Regina Burton, Otis Burton and Patrick Burton.
A Celebration of Life will be at a later date.
Contributions can be made to the family to assist with the funeral expenses.
