Obituary for Nicholas Zaleski
Nicholas Zaleski, age 76, of Delaware, formerly of New Jersey, passed away on Monday, August 28, 2023.
Nick graduated from Carteret High School. He worked as head of the repair shop at General Motors for over 28 years and was the former Chief for the Carteret Fire Department. He attended Holy Family Catholic Church.
Nick was an avid boater. He enjoyed taking family trips and working on cars in his spare time.
Survivors include his son, Erick Zaleski; granddaughter, Felicity Zaleski; sister in law, Karen Jimenez; and Derek and Brooks Jimenez.
Services will be held at 11:00 AM on Friday, September 8, 2023, at Snyowiecki Funeral Home, 56 Carteret Ave #1 Carteret, NJ 07008, where visitation will begin at 9:30 AM. Burial will follow in Saint Gertrude Cemetery, 53 Inman Ave, Colonia, NJ 07067.
