Obituary for Nancy Morin Blue
Nancy Morin Blue, 51, sadly passed away Saturday, August 7, 2021, at home. She was welcomed to heaven by her mother, whom she missed so dearly.
Born in New Brunswick, NJ, Nancy was a graduate of St. Augustine of Canterbury School in Kendall Park, NJ, and continued her education at Immaculata High School in Somerville, NJ. She received her Bachelor of Science degree at St. Joseph's University in Philadelphia, PA. Most recently, she was a recruiter for Randstad Sourceright.
She was an active member of Immaculate Heart of Mary Parish and school as the HSA co-president. She took great passion in assisting with various fundraisers throughout her children's time at IHM and did it like a pro. To say Nancy was devoted to her family is an understatement. Her children, Paige and Chase, were her world and would do anything for them, but her affection did not stop there. She loved her nephews, nieces, Godchildren, and friends' children as if they were her own. She had many deep friendships dating back to birth. Once you had Nancy in your life, it was forever. She saw all the good in people and was always the brightest personality in a room.
Nancy was preceded in death by her mother, Joanne Morin, grandfathers Wilfredo Morin, Ronald Alonso, and grandmother Evangelina Morin. She is survived by her husband of 17 years, Carroll Dwight Blue Jr; children Paige Evangelina and Chase Dwight; her father, Edward Morin and wife Kay; sister, Vivian Cleworth and husband Ernie; brother, Bryant Morin and wife Amanda; grandmother, Aida Alonso; In-laws Carroll and Wilma Blue, David Blue and wife Michelle, Wyndi; Nephews and Nieces: Ernie IV, Matthew, Evangelina, Jude, Chiara, Luca, Paul, Mason, Colby, M'Kenzeigh, Rylie, Chloe, her beloved pet dog Betsy Noel and many Uncles, Aunts and cousins.
Visitation for family and friends will be held from 5-8 pm on Thursday, August 12, and Friday, August 13 from 10-11:45 am at Immaculate Heart of Mary Church, 4701 Weldin Road, Wilmington, DE 19803.
Mass of Christian Burial will begin at noon, with burial following at All Saints Cemetery, 6001 Kirkwood Hwy, Wilmington, DE 19808.
In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made in Nancy's memory to the Immaculate Heart of Mary Home & School Association. These contributions can be tuition assistance for Nancy's Children and/or IHM's Cool the School Campaign.
