Obituary for Michelle Fitts
Michelle L. Fitts, 59, of Elkton formerly of North East MD, went home to be with the Lord on September 27, 2023.
Michelle graduated from Elkton High School in the class of 1981. Michelle worked at Union Hospital in housekeeping and also at Gore and American Mirrex, in Delaware City, where she retired. Michelle was a member of New Creations Ministries and enjoyed softball, cooking, cleaning, going to church and listening to gospel music.
Michelle was preceded in death by her parents, Ronald Booker and Shirley Fitts; 2 sisters, Sharon Price and Phyllis Brown; niece, Crayshawn Fitts; and nephew, Gary Price Jr.
She leaves to mourn daughter, Jazmen Fitts (Joshua Sr.); 2 grandchildren, Faith and Joshua Jr.; Son, Josiah Sheffler; 2 brothers, Ronald Fitts and Franklin Griffin; nephew, Brandon Price; best friend Kevin (Kim) Hubbard; and a host of nieces, nephews and cousins.
A memorial service will be held at 1:00 PM on Sunday, October 15, 2023, at the Elkton Presbyterian Church, 209 East Main St. Elkton, Maryland 21921
