Michael J. McKeown, age 65, of Newport, passed away on Thursday, September 21, 2023.
Michael enjoyed interacting with people and loved music, especially Karen Carpenter. He was an avid Philadelphia Phillies and Eagles fan.
Michael is preceded in death by his parents, John J. McKeown in 1970 and Charlotte McKeown in 1998.
He is survived by many cousins.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 AM on Wednesday, September 27, 2023, at St. Matthew’s Roman Catholic Church, 901 E. Newport Pike Woodcrest, DE 19804, where visitation will begin at 10:30 AM. Burial will follow at Saint James Episcopal Church Cemetery, 2 S. Augustine Street Newport, DE 19804.
In lieu of flowers contributions can be made to St. Matthew's Church.
