Merih A. Walker, age 79, of Wilmington, formerly of North Carolina and Istanbul, Turkey, passed away on Saturday, November 30, 2019.
Merih was a fraud specialist at American Express for many years in Turkey and worked as a property manager in North Carolina.
Merih was preceded in death by her brother, Abidin Atabay.
Survivors include her son, John P. Walker, Jr and her grandson, Memet Walker.
Services and burial will be private.
In lieu of flowers, contributions in Merih’s memory may be made to the Alzheimer’s association, 399 Market St #102, Philadelphia, PA 19106
