Obituary for Mary Helen Brown Eberts

Mary loved to travel and left on November 18, 2023 from Wilmington, DE, surrounded by her beloved family, on her final journey to join the rest of their family in eternal life with God. She was born in 1927 in North Creek, NY, daughter of George Watson and Clara Marie (Collard) Brown. A graduate of North Creek High School, she also graduated from Pennsylvania State University where she met her beloved Bill, William Ulysses Eberts. They married after graduation in 1948 and had 54 years together before his death in 2003.

She is survived by daughters, Katherine (Raymond) Brandi of Wilmington, NC, and S. Rebecca (Richard) Robertson of Wilmington, DE. And by her beloved grandchildren, Christopher (Courtnee) Robertson of Estero, FL, Sean Robertson of Wilmington, DE, Rachel (Thomas) Fox of Hoffman Estates, IL, and Jonathan (Laura) Robertson of Wilmington, DE, sister-in-law Elli Brown of Delaware City, DE, sister-in-law Anna Eberts Hinkle of Denton, TX, and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Besides her husband, parents, and brother, George Thomas Brown, she was also predeceased by her son, William Karl Eberts and daughter, Amy Mason Eberts.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held at Trinity Presbyterian Church, 1120 Darley Road, Wilmington, DE at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, November 24, 2023. A graveside service will be held at a later date with interment in Union Cemetery, North Creek, NY.
