Obituary for Marjorie D Newton
Wilmington - Marjorie D. Newton, age 90, of Wilmington, formerly of Keyser, West Virginia, passed away on Saturday, January 8, 2022.
Marge attended Elk Garden School in West Virginia and Goldey Beacom College in Delaware. She worked for many years at Wilmington Trust before retiring in the early 2000's. Marge was a member of Richardson Park United Methodist Church. She enjoyed puzzles, sudoku and cross words.
Marge was preceded in death by her husband of 41 years, J. Frank Newton, Jr.
Survivors include her children, John F. Newton, III and his wife, Donna Marie Rosato and Mark W. Newton; her grandchildren, Dean, Hannah, and Alexis; her sister, Elizabeth Brittingham and many nieces and nephews.
Funeral Services will be at 11 am on Friday, January 14 at NICHOLS-GILMORE FUNERAL HOME, 212 E. Justis St, Newport, DE 19804 where visitation will begin at 10 am. Burial will follow at Gracelawn.
