Obituary for Jason Manuel Stephenson
Born in Newark, New Jersey, Jason M. Stephenson was the son of Leroy and Norma Stephenson.
Graduating from Glasgow High School in Newark, Del. in 1991, he worked as a skilled carpenter for many years. Friends often described him as a gentle giant who showed selfless generosity to anyone in need.
Jason’s faith was steadfast and his love for family was unshakable.
In accordance with Jason’s belief in a Christian approach to living, his family asks that anyone wishing to make contributions in his name do so in the form of meaningful acts of kindness toward those around them, as Jason himself has done.
He is survived by siblings Lee and Sandra Stephenson and nephew Trey Jones of Newark, Del.
