Obituary for Jamus A. Griffin
Jamus A. Griffin Jr., age 70, of New Castle, went home to be with the Lord on Friday, December 15, 2023, at home with his family.
Jim attended William Penn High School. He worked as a chef for many years at several locations. Jim enjoyed camping and wood working.
Jim is preceded in death by his mom, Connie Griffin and dad, Jamus Griffin Sr.
Survivors include his wife of 30 years, Kay Griffin; sons, George Carter (Shannon) and Don Carter (Danielle); daughter, Belinda Hernandez (Nelson); siblings, Larona Walls (Bill), Michael Griffin (Shirley), Tommy Griffin (Janet), Ricky Griffin and Tami Shahadi (Andy); seven grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.
A visitation will be held from 6 - 8 PM on Friday, December 29, 2023, at Nichols - Gilmore Funeral Home, 212 East Justis Street Newport, DE 19804. Burial will be private.
