Obituary for James Bayard White

James Bayard White, age 72, passed away on Monday, April 29, 2013.

James was born in Wilmington, Delaware on August, 7 1940. He was the son of the late Essie Eastburn
White and William W. White.

James graduated from Wilmington High in 1958 and entered the Navy right after graduation. He
served aboard the USS Randolph CVA. James retired from E.I. DuPont in 1993 after 31 years at Chestnut run. He was a member of the Randolph Reunion Assoc

James loved camping, the outdoors and traveling. He traveled from Maine to Florida to Alaska and all points in between. For 20 plus years along with his wife, James raised and showed registered Pygmy Goats. He made a great midwife.

He was a much loved husband to Sarann Dougherty White for 52 years, a loving father to Christine Marrs and Jamie White (husband to Kelly); grandfather to Travis Marrs Sr (wife Ashley), Olivia White , and Emily White; and great grandfather to Travis Marrs Jr, Jaxon Marrs, and Emily Salgado.

Committal services will be held privately for immediate family on Wednesday, April 29, 2020 at the Delaware Veterans Memorial Cemetery.
