Obituary for James F Alley
James F. Alley, age 61, of Claymont, formerly of Philadelphia, went to be with The Lord on Friday, September 24, 2021.
Alley retired as a longshoreman at Penn Terminal after 25 years. He was a member of the Boilermakers Union 802. Alley enjoyed the Philadelphia Eagles, fishing, boating and spending time with his family and grandchildren.
Alley was preceded in death by his parents, Betty and Kenny Alley and his mother-in-law, Marian Rafferty.
Survivors include his wife of 40 years, Carolyn Alley; son, Christopher Alley; daughter, Cieann Alley (Brian Conway); grandchildren "Age", Zack and Brooklyn; and siblings, Kathy Biggs (Bob), Debbie Alley) and Danny Alley.
Services will be at 6:30 pm on Friday, October 8 at Atonement United Methodist Church, 3519 Philadelphia Pike, Claymont, DE 19703 where visitation will begin at 5:30 pm. Burial will be private.
