Obituary for Harper W. Savage Jr
Harper W. Savage Jr., Age 84 of Lewes, formerly of Wilmington went to be with his loved ones in heaven on Tuesday, July 4th, 2023.
He preceded in death by his wife Jacqueline Savage, Daughter Terri Peterson Daughter Tammy Savage, and Granddaughter Tara DelMedico.
He was a proud father of his sons Dwain, Richard, Harper 3rd and his Daughter Michelle and their spouses. He had 11 grand children, 13 Great Grandchildren, 2 Great Great Grandchildren.
Harper enjoyed being an Diesel mechanic, lifetime member being a firefighter Asst chief of Cranston Heights, surf fishing, football, and Nascar. But most of all he truly enjoyed being with his family. He will be truly missed and always loved.
A Memorial Service will be at 12 noon on Saturday, July 15 at NICHOLS-GILMORE FUNERAL HOME, 212 E. Justis St. Newport, DE 19804 where visitation will begin at 11 am.
In lieu of flowers contributions in Harper's memory may be made to The Alzheimer Fight the Blindness and Cranston Heights Fire Company, 3306 Kirkwood Hwy, Wilmington, DE 19808.
