Obituary for Elizabeth Lingafelt
Elizabeth Eury Lingafelt, age 69, of Wilmington, formerly of Alexandria, VA, passed away on Wednesday, July 14, 2021.
Liz was born in The Philippines to the late Ernest and Rose Eury. She was a 1970 graduate of Thomas Edison High School in Alexandria, VA. Liz retired from Northwest Airlines after 30 years in customer service for the airline industry. She was a member of the Fraim Senior Center and enjoyed bowling, swimming, and pool volleyball.
Liz was preceded in death by her husband of 23 years, Robert Lingafelt, in 2012.
Survivors include her children, Sarah Ashley and Samuel Wightman (Betty) and her beloved grandchildren, Owen Ashley, Kaia Ashley, Teddy Wightman, Joey Wightman, and Katie Wightman.
Services will be private.
