Edward Emile Joseph Soucy, 84, of Bear, Del., passed away peacefully on Aug. 10, 2021, at his home, surrounded by his loved ones. He was the son of the late Emile J. and Francis Soucy.

Edward was raised in Manchester, N.H., and served in the United States Air Force from 1955 to 1961. He was employed in several security capacities, including a period as the Director of Security for Catholic Medical Center, before retiring and moving to Delaware.

He was predeceased in life by his sister, Arlene Miller of Katy, Texas; his daughter, Kathleen "Katie" Hinck; grandson, Skylar Eno; and granddaughter, Allison Hinck. He is survived by his domestic partner of 26 years, Ann M. Durham of Bear, Del., and his first wife, Judith M. Beale and their five children, William Soucy, Robyn Dunmyer and Sandra LeBlanc of Manchester, N.H., and son James Soucy of Candia, N.H., two nephews, and his many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

There are no calling hours or services at this time. A private ceremony will take place with his family at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the American Cancer Society.
