Obituary for Edgar Francis White Sr.
Edgar Francis White Sr. age 78 of Hockessin Delaware, formerly of Somerset County Maryland, went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, March the 26th 2024.
He was educated in the Sommerset County Public School System, were he completed 12 Years of education. Edgar worked at the Spence Protection Agency for 30 years, before retiring. He also worked on the Custodial Staff at Washington High School in Princess Anne, Maryland. He attended the Grace United Methodist Church in Venton, Maryland before relocating to Wilmington, Delaware. Edgar enjoyed fishing and playing pinochle.
He was preceded in death by his Father, the Late Reverend Burdelle White, Mother, Loretta Jones White, his wife, Barbara White and 9 sisters and brothers, Alveda Woolford, Wardell White, Pearl Davis, Idella White, Delmas White, Annie White, Richard Dennis, Wilton Woolford Jones and Geraldine Deshields.
Edgar is survived by his three children, Edgar White Jr., Robin White and Michelle White; granddaughter, Lekeisha White; grandsons Maurice White and Marcus White; great grandchildren, Alurria White, Farrah White, Ellshaboz White and Annetta Elizabeth White; five brothers, Sherwood White, Louis White and Jerry White of Salisbury, Maryland, Larry White of Princess Anne, Maryland, and Alfonso White of Lawrenceville, Georgia. Five sisters, Gloria Wessels, Annette White, Nancy Turner all of Salisbury, Maryland, Janice White of Baltimore, Maryland, and Karen Miller of Princess Anne, Maryland, One Aunt, Blanch Jones of Willards, Maryland and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Edgar will truly be missed by many.
