Dawn Marie Hanley, age 51, of Wilmington, gained her Angel wings on Sunday, August 9, 2020.

Dawn attended Mt. Pleasant High School. She worked at CRDN of Delaware Damage Restoration Textile Company for 5 years and Angels Restaurant. Dawn enjoyed reading, coloring, sitting by the pool, playing with her grandbabies, and keeping a clean house.

Dawn was preceded in death by her mother, Debbie Huber; her grandparents, Marjorie DiMauro and Sebastian DiMauro; and her granddaughter, Makayla Lynn Johnson.

Survivors include her children, Andrew Hanley (Lindsey), Kristi Schwartz, Chelsea Schwartz, and Hunter Weit; her siblings Michael DiMauro and John Hanley; and her grandchildren Madison Hanley and Julian Leo.

A Memorial Service for family and friends will be held at 11 am on Monday, August 17 at NICHOLS-GILMORE FUNERAL HOME, 212 E. Justis St. Newport, DE 19804 where visitation will begin at 10 am. Attendance will be limited based on the current COVID19 occupancy requirements and masks will be required.

In lieu of flowers, contributions in Dawn’s memory may be made to the funeral home to assist with the funeral expenses.
