David M. Lumb, Jr, “Dee” age 57, of Wilmington, passed away on Sunday May 5, 2019.
Dee was born on July 4, 1961, he worked as a roofer for many years. He lived his life to the fullest and loved to make people laugh. He was very handy and mechanical and liked to fix things. He enjoyed riding his Harley and spending time with his friends and family.
Dee was preceded in death by his parents, Carol and David Lumb, Sr.
Survivors include his daughter, Stephanie Beatson; his grandchildren, Christopher and Jalycia; his sisters, Terri Lumb, Kelly Schneider, Lori Smith and Missy Lumb-Duval; his step daughters, Melissa Geiger and Sarah Geiger, and his step grandchildren, Johnny and Aubrey and other extended family, friends and his dog zip.
A Memorial Service will be held at 7 pm on Tuesday, May 14 at NICHOLS-GILMORE FUNERAL HOME, 212 E. Justis St. Newport, DE 19804 where visitation will begin at 6 pm. Burial will be private.
In lieu of flowers, contributions in Dee’s memory can be made to Nichols-Gilmore Funeral Home to assist with the funeral expenses.
