Obituary for Dale F Bahr Jr.

Dale F. Bahr, Jr, age 46, of Newark, formerly of Wilmington, passed away suddenly on Wednesday, September 18, 2019 at home.

Dale was a 1990 graduate of William Penn High School where he was a part of the wrestling, soccer and track teams. He worked as a night supervisor at the New Castle Home Depot for the last 5 years. Dale was a coach for the Stanton Steelers Little League. He enjoyed watching football, especially his favorite team the Denver Broncos. Most of all, Dale enjoyed spending time with his family and the annual Lewes Beach family trip.

Dale is survived by his mother, Debbie Zimath; his brother, David Zimath, Jr (Tiffany); his sister, Julie Watson; his girlfriend, Crissy Davis; his nephews, Eric and Devin Zimath; his niece, Ashley Bahr; and his uncles and aunts, Marty Coughlin (Cathy); Terry Coughlin; Tim Coughlin (Vivian), Robin Long (Barry) and Carol Groff.

Memorial Services will be held at 11 am on Friday, September 27 at Nichols-Gilmore Funeral Home, 212 E. Justis St. Newport, DE 19804 where visitation will begin at 10 am. Burial will be private.

In lieu of flowers, contributions in Dale’s memory may be made to the American Heart Association, 200 Continental Drive, Suite 101 Newark, DE 19713
