Charles W. Evans, Sr., age 84, of Wilmington, passed away peacefully on Sunday, August 4, 2019.
Charlie worked for McHugh Electric Company for over 30 years.
Charlie was preceded in death by his wife of 58 years, Carrie Lee Evans and his grandson, Carl.
Survivors include his sons, Chuck, Tom and Rick; his grandchildren, Chucky, Eric, Juliet and Ricky; his great granddaughter, Kailee; and his siblings, Bob, Barbara and Jay.
Funeral Services will be at 11 am on Friday, August 9 at Nichols-Gilmore Funeral Home, 212 E. Justis St. Newport, DE 19804 where visitation will begin at 10 am. Burial will be private.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the funeral home to assist with the funeral expenses.
