Obituary for Charles W Biliski

Charles W. “Charlie” Biliski, age 73, of Bear, formerly of New Castle, passed away peacefully after a long battle with Alzheimer's on Wednesday, November 3, 2021.

Charlie was an Army Veteran where he served 2 years as head chef in Vietnam. He was a union foreman for Amtrak Railroad for over 20 years before retiring in 2014. He also worked for Wilson T. Davis Heating and Air for 30 years.
Charlie enjoyed working with his hands. He loved sports, especially the Phillies, Yankees, Dolphins and basketball players, Wilt Chamberlain and Dr. J.

Charlie was preceded in death by his loving father, Michael Biliski; his mother, Catherine (Curlett) Faber; his step-father, Bob Faber; and; father and mother in law, Dominic and Marie Sciarra.

Survivors include his wife of 40 years, Joyce Biliski; his sons, Michael Biliski (Kayla) and Matt Biliski (Makena); his grandchildren, Hailee and MaKenna; his sister, Julia Davis (the late Steve); his brothers, Raymond Biliski (Bridget), Joe Biliski, Eddie Biliski and John Biliski (Patty); his brothers-in-law, Bob Sciarra (Cathy) and Joe Sciarra (MaryAgnes) and sister-in law, Jane Wright (Tom); his nephews and nieces, extended family and his neighbors turned family.

Memorial Services will be at 12 noon on Saturday, November 13 at NICHOLS-GILMORE FUNERAL HOME, 212 E. Justis St. Wilmington, DE 19804 where visitation will begin at 11 am. A luncheon will follow immediately after the service that all are welcome to attend at the Hockessin VFW 7620 Lancaster Pike Hockessin, DE 19707

The family would like to thank Dr. Alan Friedland, Delaware Hospice and Christiana Care for their care of Charlie during his illness.
