Sorry to hear about Carl’s passing, he was a true gentleman and a good friend to Peggy and I. We met at an Eastern Star function many years ago and enjoyed Carl’s companionship along with his Lady Margaret. May God Bless his family. Jeffery and Peggy Samuelson

Margaret, Kim, and Glenn...
I was so very sorry to read of Carl's passing. He was one of my very best Dupont "work buddies", and since his retirement I've thought of him almost daily - constantly reminded around my house by items he made for me or handed down to me. In the middle of an old pine table in my spare bedroom "hunting cabin", is a small tin can with a yellow label "sun dried opossum roadkill", 1989 Missouri. Carl laughed when he handed that can to me in exchange for one the many deer I provided him over the years. I can still hear his laugh and still see his infectious smile. I was a young lab tech when Carl took me under his wing to share his wisdom. He told me the whole story about why he became a Mason. He let me use his car-top aluminum boat to take my two young sons fishing. I spent half of my coffee breaks in his shop laughing and trading stories. Margaret, I've never met you but I remembered your name because Carl spoke of you so often. Kim and Glenn, your dad wasn't quite old enough to be my dad but he occasionally assumed that role. You are all in my prayers. Carl was such a good man...maybe the best I've ever met. Tonight I'll go into my "hunting cabin" to that little yellow can, and raise a glass... and every time I drive past the veterans cemetery just down the road, I will say a prayer for Carl....

Mrs Morris, Kim, and Glenn,
I'm very sorry to hear of the of Mr Morris' passing. He was one of my Dad's good friends from the Experimental Station, and I'm sure my Dad was there to welcome him through the pearly gates. Such fond memories I have of our camping times at Trap Pond, the bonfires with music, and the story of the "I'm with the band" still came up in talks with my Dad, and I talked with my Mom about that last night after Jeannie notified me. Mr Morris built the amplification system for my Dad's band early on, and also made the Oooga horn that we used in the band and it was surely a crowd pleaser. Prayers and peaceful thoughts to your family in this sad time, RIP Mr Morris.
