Obituary for Brenda Rose Schlapfer
Brenda Rose Schlapfer, age 75, of Bear, Delaware, passed away on Monday, May 22, 2023. Brenda was born in Crickmere, West Virginia. She was a graduate of Conrad High School, class of 1966. Brenda attended cosmetology school after graduation, but eventually went to work for Dupont, where she retired after 28 years of service. However after retiring, she worked another 6 years for Almars Outboards.
Brenda is survived by her husband of 45 years, Robert B. Schlapfer; her sisters, Betty L. Mull (Burl) and Marilyn Martin Miller; her brother, Robert E. Martin (Mary); brother-in-law, James Schlapfer (Georgia) and many nieces and nephews.
Brenda is preceded in death by her parents, Rose Lea and Thomas Martin; her brothers, James F. Martin, Lewis D. Martin, Dallas C. Martin and Billy L. Martin and her sisters, Annabelle O. Walker and Patricia L. Smith.
Services will be private.
