Obituary for Anna Marie Ober
Anna Marie Ober, 87, of Elmhurst, Wilmington, Delaware passed away on Saturday, November 11, 2023.
She was the daughter of Howard and Anna Marie (Mary) Sharp.
She was a graduate of Wilmington High School and retired from the DuPont Co. Anna was a member of the Richardson Park United Methodist Church and the Five Points Chapter #13, Order of Eastern Star.
Anna’s hobbies were reading, painting, gardening and traveling to and from their home in Lewes, DE. She was very devoted to her family; which gave her much enjoyment.
Her husband, Charles, predeceased her in 2009 after 53 years of marriage and her son, Ronald, also predeceased her in 2014.
She is survived by her son, Kenneth H. of Wilmington and a grandson, Kenneth C. of Newark, DE.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM on Tuesday, November 21, 2023 at Nichols-Gilmore Funeral Home in Newport, DE, where friends are invited to visitation at 10:00 AM. Internment will follow at Silverbrook Cemetery, DuPont Rd. and Lancaster Ave. Wilmington, DE.
