George W. Meconnahey, age 63, of Wilmington, passed away on Tuesday, November 13, 2018.

George graduated from Delcastle High School in 1973. He enjoyed fishing, wood carving, and watching movies.

George was preceded in death by his parents, George and Clara.

Survivors include his sons, Brian Meconnahey and Matthew Meconnahey (Elizabeth); his sisters, Ann Meconnahey (Kathy Taft) and Maryann Meconnahey-Weir; his brother, James Pitts (Joyce); 4 Grandchildren; his niece, April Pennington and his grandniece.

Funeral Services will be at 7pm on Tuesday, November 20, 2018 at NICHOLS-GILMORE FUNERAL HOME, 212 E. Justis St. Newport, DE 19804 where visitation will begin at 6pm. Burial will be private.
