Anthony V. Del Priore, Sr., age 78 of Newark, Delaware formerly of Brooklyn, New York, was called home on Sunday, October 1, 2017.

Tony was a member of Holy Angels Catholic Church.

Tony was preceded in death by his brother, Joseph Del Priore.

Survivors include his wife, Rose Marie Del Priore; his son, Anthony V. Del Priore, Jr; his sister Maria Ugenti and her husband, Michael; his grandchildren, Danny, Anthony III and Michael; his nieces and nephews, JoAnn, Felicia, Jeanette, Luke, JoiAnn (John), Ashleigh, Michael and Victoria; and his sisters and brothers-in-law, Fran Capolupo (Pat), Ann Messina, Robert Piparo, Evangeline Leone (Nelson) and Marie Del Priore and many loving family members and friends.

A Memorial Mass will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday, October 4 at HOLY ANGELS CATHOLIC CHURCH, 82 Possum Park Rd, Newark, DE 19711. Burial will be at 10 a.m. on Thursday, October 5 at Delaware Veterans Memorial Cemetery, 2465 Chesapeake City Road, Bear, DE 19701.
