Dawn Wilson Little, age 49 of Parksley, Virginia, formerly of West Chester, Pennsylvania, passed away on Thursday, July 27, 2017.

Dawn attended Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witness in New Castle and West Chester. She attended William Penn High School and graduated from Henderson High School in West Chester in 1986. Dawn loved to cook, sing, and write poetry. She enjoyed modeling when she was younger. Most of all, Dawn enjoyed spending time with her family.

Dawn was preceded in death by her mother, Dorothy Hammond Wilson and her father, Earl L. Wilson, Sr.

Survivors include her husband of 18 years, Shawn Little; her children, Luis “Mike” Mendez, Jr, Julian T. Mendez, Daniel “Danny” Mendez, Danielle “Mamaz” Mendez (Robert James Presley, III), and Davon Wilson; her grandchildren, Amir Davis, Larissa Ward, Liliana Mendez, Kayla Mendez, Luis Mendez lll, Lialani princess Mendez, Maxamillion A. Mendez, Robert J. Presley IV, Ryan J. Presley, Dillion H. Presley, Alana M. Presley; her “Mom” Mary F. Wilson; her “Pop-Pop” John S. Haman, Sr; her siblings, Antoinette “Toni” Wilson-Santos (Raymond, Jr.), Earl L. Wilson, Jr (Liesl), Maurice “Ressie” Wilson, Gilead “Gil” Branson (Angela), Elaine C. Wilson, and Jevon T. Wilson (Eva); along with many aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews, “Adopted” children and other extended family.

Funeral Services will be at 1pm on Saturday, August 5 at NICHOLS-GILMORE FUNERAL HOME, 212 E. Justis Street, Newport, DE 19804, where visitation will begin at noon. Burial will be private.
